Chris Waiton had a lot of melodic and fast driving bass lines, John Clark had a lot of fast punk guitar riffs, and everything Cree Hoggan played was hard and loud. So immediately the band formed a fast punk but heavy sound that had a lot of raw power and energy behind it.
So after a few months of being together the band found a style that tied in all of there musical roots and created a sound that in some ways is beautiful. It is beautiful because the minds of three musicians came together and formed something with ideas and suggestions that led to a bigger picture. Being able to work together maturely and prosperously was something that just happened naturally with Skudpuppetz from the start.
